“ The place is nice with not bright light. The food is always great and the cocktails and local beer too. It’s an excellent place to taste local beer and to hang with friends. ”
“ We were in town for the tulip festival and stumbled across the brewery on the walk back from centennial park back to the car. We only stayed for a round of the patio but both enjoyed our beer. I got the tulip time while my partner got one of their IPAs. We enjoyed both and grabbed a 4 pack of tulip time to enjoy back home in Cleveland. There was a HUGE group of local (and passing through) musicians on the patio (I’m talking probably 15) and it was such a cool thing to see. We were there during happy hour and only spent 6 on two pints! Incredible!! ”
“ So glad we finally got the chance to try Big Lake Brewing. Our waitress was awesome. Gave us lots of suggestions for beer selections and food to try. Had to try the Bitterballen for an appetizer since we had never had anything like it. It was described as a kind of hush puppy. The inside kind of tasted like a gravy flavor mixed in with the hush puppy like batter. Very unique and quite tasty. It was served with a whole seed mustard dressing that was very delicious. We also tried the works pizza. We loved the flavor of the crust and sauce. Lots of toppings which caused a little issue with the middle not being done. Manager took care of it right away. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Fun merch and their beer selection to shop as well. Stop in to check them out when you visit Holland. We will definitely be back. ”
